Flylow's flagship pants, the Chemical Pants, have been designed to offer skiers a resilient, reinforced pair of watertight hard shell pants with cross-flow venting. They are the Toyota truck of ski pants-reliable, durable, and high performing whether you're climbing in the mountains or going Mach speeds on straight-always. Cordura reinforcements on the knees and ankles protect from scuffs and a highly breathable membrane and thigh zips cool you off.
Best pants on the market! Durable, great fit, and extremely good looking. The rear-end is a little baggy, which makes sense since skiers and boarders are typically in a tuck position. I'm 5'9" and 150 lb, and a size MEDIUM fits baggy in the seat and legs. That's how pants should fit IMO. Re-enforced knee material looks great when skiing moguls. Also, the material is not shiny, so you don't look like a trash bag coming down the mountain. The only area I would like to see improved is the leg-length; 1 or 2 more inches would give them a little more baggy look which is usually more appealing than too short. Flylow told me they sometimes have longer leg-lengths available, but only at their website. Here is a marketing suggestion...make longer lengths available to dealers.
