I absolutely love these pants. They are easy to pull over my hiking boots because of the long zippers all the way to the thigh. They are double zippers so you can open the top as a vent and also access your pants cargo pockets. They are very waterproof and breathable. The only caveat is the length. I ordered the Amazon recommended size of Men's Medium Short because I wear 29–30-inch length and 32" waist. The waist was fine, but the actual length was only 28" (on the label inside the pants) which was too short. I exchange them for a Men's Medium Regular which was 31" and fit perfect. Remember you will need a longer length because most people pull them above the belt of their hiking pants which will necessitate an inch or two longer. They are Gortex and extremely well made. They roll or fold compactly and are great for travel and hiking. I am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend the seller add the actual inseam length (on the label inside the pants) to the size listing, making it easier to choose the proper size.
