I ordered this item twice - the first time was a 2X, and when that was too small I sent it back and tried again with a 3X. This was also too small and was again returned. I've had other similar pants from different manufacturers in the same sizes and you can never really tell what one company's "2X" will be from another one's. And no, you can't trust those "measurement" guides either - they are very generic. I've had 2X's where I was swimming and could barely hold them up, and then I've had those that look like they belong on a child-size mannequin.I rated these high because they are VERY comfortable (you want fuzzy? These are fuzzy!). However, if you're going to order I would highly recommend getting something bigger than you "think" you're used to because you're taking a chance with anything less. Great item, though - just wish I could get one in the size I need.
