love the material, just what I was looking for in work pants. Thin and very comfortable in this Georgia heat.I normally wear Carhartt or Kuhl pants, but thought I’d give this a try since they sell for half the price. They are definitely a nice pair of work pants, but not the caliber of the previously mentioned brands.I’m normally a 32-waist, but because I usually wear an IWB holster, I usually like to go up to a 33. Since these are only sized in even waist sizes, I went for the 34-waist, but it’s barely as large as a 33-waist in my other pants. I recommend sizing-up, especially since these are cotton and will shrink a bit. These are a thin cotton, as it seems thinner than my Carhartt’s, but it’s not too thin for work or farm use.Pros:- It’s made from a nice abrasion resistant weave cotton, with some spandex for some stretch, although there is no mention of what ounce thickness it is.- It has a reinforced gusseted crotch, which is good to see as that is one of the first places that pants wear out for me.- It has reinforced cuffs at the ankles that are sloped from the front to the back, which is also a point of high wear for me.- Has a generous nine different pockets, two of which are zippered.- Has a sewn in plastic triangular ring for attaching keys or an ID, so that you don’t wear-out your belt loop.- Belt loops easily accommodate 1.5-inch belts with room to spare.- The inside of the knees has a nylon mesh to increase comfort and decrease wear. They also have an opening into which you could insert knee pads (although the opening is a bit large and will not hold all pads in place, and it opens from the bottom).Cons (for which I am deducting one star)- Has an elasticized waistband on the backside, which I am not a fan of.- The crotch depth, the measurement from the waist to the groin, is ridiculously long at over 11-inches. It kind of defeats the gusseted crotch because of how low it sits. It limits how far apart I can stretch my legs, especially when squatting.- The seat is somewhat baggy and not very flattering, probably because of a long rear crotch depth.- Legs are Skinnier than my other brands, especially at the lower leg (but it’s not that bad).- The hand pockets in the front are narrow and are accessed from the top more than from the side.- The buttonhole was not finished well and fraying a bit. That may be where these pants wear the fastest.- The Velcro tabs on the pocket flaps are cheap and single stitched-on, and they appear they will wear out quickly.Despite the cons, at less than half the price of comparable name brands, it’s a decent pair of work pants, and when they do wear out, you won’t have lost a small fortune. If it holds-up well, then I would consider getting it again in the future. These fit well and are comfortable good everyday outdoor pant. They have good flex and temperature comfort, lots of pockets. There is much that I find to be odd about these tactical pants.First, they go from a super baggy butt area to a near skinny pant leg area which not only makes them look unusual but not feel right around the legs where they should fall down without restraint. These will certainly be limited to at home and backyard use.Next, the pockets seem outright weird, from the unusual cut of the back pockets to how the side pockets are placed at angles in which they seem to practically overlap each other. Finally, though they are said to be rip stop, I have never seen rip stop fabric of this kind. Also that little hanging triangle always gets in the way when wanting to reach into my pocket.I usually fit in a size 36" pant. On some pants I might go up to a 38" for comfort. I got a size 38" (based on their sizing chart I should have had plenty of room) in these and they're still a little snug in the seat/hips. Not unbearable, but a little too "skinny jean" for me. These have kind of a slim fit to them. Not a big deal, but I'd order up at least one size from what the chart recommends. The pockets are different, being angled on the thighs.I love the flex of the material as when I'm at work, it's nice to have a little extra give for those non-traditional positions. These won't be front line for my pants, but they will serve great for a back-up set or one for training. The pants have great pockets, which are angled well to make it easy to grab stuff from them. The waistband also has some elastic, which makes for a good fit. The stitching seems to be well down, and no errand threads or missed seams. They aren’t super thick, so may not hold up well to really rough use, but will be good for weekend trips outdoors.Ok, these might not be the most fashionable but they certainly are helpful. Pockets with pockets with pockets. Good fit. Well made (strong seams) and did I mention… pockets for days. Looking for some tough cargo pants? These fit the bill and look decent while doing it.My husband loves these pants. He ordered them in 38 x 32 and they run a little long so he is having me order more in 38 x 30 because they were too long. He says they are a lot more comfortable than the usual khaki pants he gets and they seem better quality with the knee reinforcements. They are heavier weight than his usual pants which he really likes, too. He also loves the many, many pockets. These are definitely good work pants because you they have so many large pockets. However, they are terribly unflattering from the back. I tried to post a couple of photos but they really don't show how the pockets make him look the same from the front and back. I've never seen pants with pockets like this on the back. From the visual perspective, I'm horrified, but my husband says they are actually really practical. The elastic waist band is the final touch in making these look unacceptable, though. We will definitely NOT be going out anywhere in these pants. So ladies, go ahead and get these for your man and he will love them and work all day in these pants, but just don't be seen in public with him in these. They are definitely made for comfort and function but not style. He highly recommends them and they are his new favorite pant and he is excited about every aspect of these, though, so for a work pant, they are great.
